2023 Events
March 17 Opening Day for Spring. Open 9-5pm daily starting in mid-March.
May 6-7 Open House. Yearly, this is a BIG event for us. Everything we grow is targeted to be ready for purchase by this weekend. Also, bonsai expert Greg Spoon will be joining us, displaying and selling his amazing bonsai specimens.
May 14 Mother's Day. Stop buying your fabulous Mom things that she has to pretend to love, just because they came from you and "it's the thought that counts". Instead, bring her out to the garden center and allow her to pick something out that she can enjoy for a season or even for many seasons to come.
June 3-4 Strawberry Festival, Carlinville, Illinois. For two days we will be participating as vendors at the Macoupin County Historical Society's annual fundraiser held on the grounds of the historic Anderson Mansion.
July Available by appointment only.
August Open 9-5 pm daily, starting in early August.
September 16-17 Macoupin County Historical Society Fall Festival, Carlinville, Illinois. For two days we will be participating as vendors at the Macoupin County Historical Society's annual fundraiser held on the grounds of the historic Anderson Mansion.

Classes & Workshops
- TBD. Succulent Planter: Year after year we see succulents gaining in popularity. These plants are easy to care for and a lot of fun to decorate with. In this workshop you will mix and match succulents to create a stunning centerpiece that can be kept in your home or placed out on the deck. I personally love to put succulents near the entry of our home. $35 per planter. Payment due at registration
- TBD. Miniature/Fairy Garden: Learn a bit of background information on the art of gardening in miniature. Take a look at a few of the fairy gardens that we have put together for our resident fairy. Then, stick around and build a mini garden of your own. This is a lot more fun than you would imagine, for adults and children alike. $45 fee per kit, includes a container, a few small plants, some accessories and all the soil, pebbles and mosses you need. Additional products are available for purchase. This project requires that we have plenty of supplies on hand the day of the class so we ask that you try your best to pre-register. Payment due at registration.
- Birthday parties, showers and girl's-night/day-out....If you have an event to celebrate or a group to get together, call Abby to make arrangements for a private party.
